Travis and Jessica

It always makes my job so much more easier, and not to mention satisfying when a couple that I work with is so very comfortable and relaxed with each other.  Travis Steyskal and Jessica Cummings are that couple! 
In fact, from the very first moment we starting to shoot on this day, I could tell that it was going to be a great photo shoot with this couple. Their smiles are infectious and genuine, and the love they show for one another is such a great example among people today. I am honored to be able to share in their upcoming wedding day on March 1st 2014.

Kevin and Natasha

 Natasha and her family have been friends of my wife and I for many years. Over those years, Natasha always said "Darren, I can't wait to get married so you can take my pictures!". Well, that day finally came and it was no surprise to us when we met Kevin; what a perfect match they are.
  They decided to go with a Tiffany theme for the wedding, as well as some candy-like pastels for the bridal party. (The cake was actually a giant Tiffany box!) The entire day looked absolutely amazing from start to finish, and I was honored to be a part of it!

Tim and Paige

Punta Gorda, Florida was devastated after Hurricane Charley ripped through in 2004. The result was a reformation of this quaint, old little town in SouthWest Florida. Tim and Paige Murphy decided that they wanted to use this picturesque little part of Old Florida for their wedding day, and what a fantastic day this turned out to be! Beautiful couple. Gorgeous location. Perfect Day.

Andres and Alyssa's Wedding

Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club is literally one of my top ten favorite locations for a wedding which is exactly where Andres and Alyssa Perry decided to have their dream wedding! (You may remember this couple's engagement session at Marie Selby Gardens) It turned out to be a gorgeous venue that we were able to get some stunning shots at. I was very pleased at the results today.

Jasmine and Umberto

 When planning for a vintage setting on a photo shoot, everything needs to look the part. Jasmine chose all the right clothing, props and place that she wanted for their engagement session! It was obvious just how much these two enjoyed each other's company and I was more that happy to capture that connection between them.
 Umberto and Jasmine are scheduled to be married in February of 2014 and I very much look forward to working with them again next year.

Family Portraits Time!!

  It's time to start thinking about getting the family portraits done for this year. The sunsets are warm and beautiful, and foliage is at it's greenest because of all the rain.

Andres and Alyssa's Engagement

  You just can't go wrong when you choose a beautiful garden like Marie Selby Gardens in Sarasota, Florida. Alyssa and Andres are one of those couples that you barely have to give instructions to, simply because they are so naturally comfortable with each other that each photo was purely organic!

Kevin and Natasha's Engagement

It was abnormally hot in Sarasota when we got started on this "outing" today, but you would never know it from the obvious amount of fun that we had with Kevin and Natasha at Marina Jack's, also in Downtown Sarasota and finally ending up at Casperson's beach in Venice. (Beautiful sunset!)
 I have known Natasha and her family for a few years, and It was more than obvious that she has finally found the perfect guy for her personality in Kevin! I'm thrilled that I had a chance to spend time with them both before their wedding coming up this year on November 1st. Billy and Nicole

   Who would have thought that you can find such a beautiful setting for a wedding in the middle of an orange grove? Well this is precisely what Billy and Nicole Couch found right in the heart of Bradenton, Florida at Mixon Fruit Farms.
  A large pong filled with exotic fish was overlooked by a large Gazebo where they spoke their vows. Adjacent to this was the extremely large pavilion with facilities connected. The area fit their personalities to a tee, and I enjoyed myself as well!
